As Sinatra sang: “It’s very nice to go trav’ling / To Paris, London and Rome / It’s oh so nice to go trav’ling / But it’s so much nicer, yes it’s so much nicer, to come home.”
That’s my take on Victoria. Returning brings feelings both familiar and exhilarating.
This summer, these song birds echoed my sentiments.
It’s easy to fall for a city that serves up shots of joy, within the confines of a daily walk.
Rush hour…
…and Happy Hour.
And of course, time to reflect…
…on the Island’s vibrant blend of characters.
Out with the song birds…
Be back…
Just dandy, my oh my! I wanted more.
Wow! The glories of the island seem a long way away, and a long time ago. Glad it’s become home for you and still wondrous.
Really beautiful and fun photos. Love the reflection shots and always the play on words. Miss you. Love.
Thanks all (of the above)! Glad the pics brought a smile. Cheers—
I love this, Ira! Thank you. What a place. I can see why you love it!
Thanks April!
